ESOS compliance and reporting.

You’ve probably heard of ESOS. A lot of businesses have.

And if you’re large enough to fall under the regulations, you’ll know it’s not something to ignore. But when you’re juggling everything else – keeping operations running, managing costs and hitting sustainability targets, ESOS compliance can feel like yet another thing to sort.

It’s not always clear what’s required. Or who’s best placed to help. That’s where we come in. We don’t do tick-boxes. We take the time to understand your business, explain what ESOS means for you, and support you through it, from start to finish.

Whether you’ve been through it before or it’s your first time, we’ll make sure you’re not caught out.

How ESOS audits work for businesses

If you meet the criteria for the Energy Savings Opportunity Scheme (ESOS), you’ll need to carry out a full audit of your energy use every four years, looking at electricity, gas, fuel, transport and operations.

The goal is to identify ways your business could use less energy. That doesn’t mean cutting corners or doing less. It means spotting where energy’s being wasted and where things could run more efficiently.

The audit needs to be completed by an ESOS Lead Assessor and signed off by a director. And the findings have to be reported to the Environment Agency, whether you choose to act on them or not.

The good news? You don’t have to figure it out alone.
