What do you enjoy most about your role at Troo?
I really enjoy the variety of the role, 2 days are never the same. I also enjoy that I'm always busy, helping and looking after customers as that's what I love to do.
What’s one thing you think businesses should know about energy that they often don’t?
That they are usually paying more than they need to and don't realise we can help make savings.
How would you describe the team at Troo in three words?
Friendly, resourceful and motivated.
What’s been a standout moment for you since joining Troo?
A stand out moment for me was being awarded employee of the month. I was really happy to be nominated but even more surprised at being awarded it.

What do you enjoy most about your role at Troo?
I enjoy the mix of collaborating with different teams internally and our reliable suppliers externally to achieve the best possible outcome for our customers.
What’s one thing you think businesses should know about energy that they often don’t?
That the energy cap does not apply to businesses and therefore some businesses are currently paying deemed rates and ultimately paying a lot more than needed if they were in a fixed term contract.
How would you describe the team at Troo in three words?
Supportive, honest and diligent
What’s been a standout moment for you since joining Troo?
I have been with the business nearly 5 years and the standout moment for me was moving office from Newcastle to Sunderland, seeing the clear growth and progression for the business in years to come.

I really enjoy working closely with customers to make sure they're getting the most from their energy contracts. Helping them create tailored energy strategies that genuinely work for their business is incredibly rewarding.

Many businesses don't realise that a one-size-fits-all approach to energy doesn't work. It's crucial to have an energy management strategy that's tailored to their specific needs and goals.

What’s been a standout moment for you since joining Troo?
One standout moment was helping a client secure a rebate of over £40,000 from solar FIT tariffs. Moments like that highlight the real difference we can make.
