Troo was set up with one simple aim: to make energy easier for businesses.

It shouldn’t be this hard to understand what you’re paying for, who to speak to, or what options are actually right for your business. But for a lot of people, it is.

We started Troo to change that.

We’re not here for one-off deals. We’re here for the long haul, helping businesses make confident, informed decisions about energy through our services. Rapid expansion leads to outgrowing two offices in Newcastle.

Moves into larger premises at Doxford Park, Sunderland, and strengthens outbound sales operations.

Obtains additional investment from Mercia to support continued growth.

Expands leadership team to scale the business and improve service delivery.


Launches first white-label partnership with the Country Land & Business Association (CLA), broadening support for rural businesses.

Develops a partnership channel to expand reach and deliver energy solutions through trusted networks.
