Under the renewed partnership, clubs will have access to a dedicated Troo service led by Pricing Specialist Liam Robson and Account Executive Jonathan Clark, offering clear advice on contracts, billing issues and ongoing energy management.
Kevin Appleby, Partnership Operations Manager at Troo, said: “We’re pleased to keep working with the Southern League and its clubs. The aim is simple: make the energy side easier, so clubs can focus on football. With Liam and Jonathan leading the line, clubs know who to call and what to expect - straight answers and steady support.”
The Southern Football League brings togecther ambitious clubs with busy schedules, volunteer heavy operations and tight budgets. The partnership focuses on the basics that matter most to clubs: clear pricing, timely help when issues arise, and a single point of contact through the season.
Jason Mills, Chief Operating Officer at the Southern Football League, said: “We’ve renewed with Troo because their approach works for our clubs. They keep things clear, help resolve issues quickly, and reduce the admin load. That practical support makes a difference across a busy season, which is why we’re happy to continue the partnership.”
Troo’s approach is rooted in being helpful, fair and transparent; keeping language simple, avoiding surprises, and acting as an extension of each club’s set up. The renewed agreement maintains a service model focused on reliable support rather than one-off fixes.
