Among the experts leading this initiative is Paul Davidson. Paul is an experienced energy consultant with strong family ties to greenkeeping and golf tourism. Paul is known in the sector and already involved in bringing smarter energy solutions to golf clubs up and down the country.
Paul is joined by Ben Smith, who brings three decades of expertise in corporate golf operations and management. The team is rounded out by Liam Robson, a keen golfer and utilities specialist with a decade of experience in helping businesses secure the right energy and water solutions.
“For me, golf is more than just a sport, it’s a community,” said Davidson. “Every pound saved on energy or water bills is a pound that can be reinvested into the course, clubhouse, and membership experience.”
The launch of Troo’s dedicated golf team shows their commitment to the sector. The team involved are passionate about the sport and recognise the importance of golf clubs as community hubs and local businesses. They also bring a thorough understanding of energy solutions and how they suit the challenges to be overcome.
The team look to take a proactive approach, guiding golf clubs and improving energy resilience. Not only working to reduce costs but also to improve efficiency and sustainability to help mitigate rising utility expenses.
