UK energy consultancy, Troo, has announced a partnership with Sports Pro Care to support professional snooker player Gary Wilson. Gary, who is ranked in the top 16 players in the world, is preparing to defend his Welsh Open title following a standout performance last year.

The partnership reflects Troo’s people-first approach and Sports Pro Care’s commitment to creating the right conditions for athletes to excel. By stepping in to support Gary, Troo is helping him focus fully on his preparation for the second half of the season. After the Welsh Open, Gary will head to China before ending the season with the biggest event on the calendar, the World Championships.

Mark Jones, Channel Director at Troo, said: “We’re thrilled to partner with Sports Pro Care and support Gary as he gets ready for the Welsh Open. At Troo, we focus on taking the stress out of energy management so people can put their time and energy into what matters most. It’s an honour to back Gary at this exciting point in his career and to be cheering him on as he defends his title.”

Gary Wilson expressed his appreciation, saying: “It’s great to have Troo on board as a new partner. As I get ready to defend my Welsh Open title, their support comes at an important time. Knowing I’ve got their backing gives me an extra boost heading into the tournament.”

James Hair, Founder and Director of Sports Pro Care, added: “Our goal is always to provide athletes with the tools and assistance they need to succeed, and partnering with Troo enables us to do even more for Gary. We’re eager to see what he accomplishes next, and this collaboration allows him to give his performance his whole attention.”

As the Welsh Open approaches, Troo and Sports Pro Care are proud to stand alongside Gary, celebrating his determination and focus both on and off the snooker table. This partnership demonstrates a shared belief in providing the right support to help people succeed.
